Dr. Travis Thurston:

Dr Travis Thurston was born California, growing up in the Sierra Nevada’s near Lake Tahoe in a progressive community that supported sustainable living and natural lifestyles. He relocated to Portland Oregon, where he completed his Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and Biology. He graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, where he obtained his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine.

Travis spent the majority of his practicing career working in mental health, working with the underserved populations and has a unique approach to diabetes, endocrine and gastrointestinal disorders. He spent 3 years in Portland’s ‘Outside In’ working with an at-risk population doing reproductive and substance abuse care.

Dr. Travis specializes in neurological health, hormone replacement strategies, and full-body comprehensive care using a integrative approach, blending the best of modern, Western medicine, along with traditional European and Eastern medical philosophies. Passions for Naturopathic Medicine include botanical and nutritional support along with identifying and addressing the underlying cause of “dis-ease”.

Dr. Margarethe McCleod “Dr. Mar”

Aloha, I have always had a passion for helping people since I was a very small child.  Currently, I focus on the energy flow through peoples’ bodies and help my patients remove their obstacles to cure so they may attain their optimal health. 

    I got my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Human Biology and my Doctorate as a Naturopathic Physician from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. Currently, I work enhancing energy flow and optimal health for patients at The Natural Wellness Center.

      I use the healing tools that I learned at Bastyr, not only with my patients but also in my every day life. Most of the foods I cook are whole foods based, colds and flus do not last long at my house and my daughter and I make sure to get our daily dose of vitamin R (recreation). Creating in myself as well as my patients the optimal environment for health is just the way I roll. 

    I bring unconditional personal regard, understanding and support to my patients. I treat people not diseases.  Busy parents, professionals, students, retired individuals and anyone in between who are troubled by problems of pain or a chronic health conditions or just suffering from bumps along the road in life relating to physical, emotional or spiritual health can come to me and find relief.  My patients appreciate my ability to make natural medicine practical, and attainable for even the most frazzled individual.

    I was born in California, spent 15 years in Washington and felt called to move to Hawaii after I graduated. I have never felt so at home anywhere.  I love Hawaii and the Aloha spirit and I look forward becoming a part of the local community. 

Dr. Ryan Ferchoff

Dr. Ryan was born in Wisconsin, and grew up in the Milwaukee area. He graduated from Ripon College with a degree in biology and chemistry. He continued on to study Naturopathic Medicine at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona.

In Arizona Dr. Ferchoff did his clinical training at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center (The largest Naturopathic medical center in the country), Allergy Associates Clinic, The Alive Clinic (HIV/AIDS Project in Arizona) as well as other private practices in the Arizona area.  

Dr. Ferchoff has been practicing Naturopathic Medicine since 2002.   Dr. Ferchoff currently is practicing at the Natural Wellness Center in Honolulu, Hawaii,  Detox Hawaii (Detox Retreat Center) and Apothicare Wellness Care Center in Scottsdale Arizona.

Dr. Ferchoff has received specialized training in oxygen and chelation therapy, weight management, prolotherapy as well as  nutrition, family medicine, homeopathy, spinal manipulation, Gerson therapy, counseling, lifestyle enhancement through exercise, diet and stress reduction, botanical medicine, sclerotherapy, and hormone replacement therapies.  He uses all of these therapies to treat a wide variety of both acute and chronic complaints.
